Iranian short flick ‘300 per Night’ is slated to vie at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival in the US.

Iranian short flick ‘300 per Night’ is slated to vie at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival in the US.

Written and directed by Mohsen Najafi-Mehri, the film will be screened at the 38th edition of the event.

“The children are trying to rent their villas on the side of the highway, but Ehsan does not want to rent their villa for tonight, and this is not easy,” a short synopsis of the film reads.

“Chicago International Children's Film Festival is the first competitive festival of films for children in the U.S.

The impetus for the Festival came from a need to introduce new, culturally diverse films for children to American children's audiences, and to recognize excellence in children's filmmaking,” the media wrote.

The event hosts 250 films from 40 countries each year.

This year’s edition of the festival is slated for November 5-12.
